Etsy put a payment account reserve on your shop and suddenly your money arrives in dribbles. This page does two things: estimates how much cash the reserve locks up from three numbers, and — if you want exact figures — reads your monthly statement CSV to show what's held and when it releases. The file never leaves your browser.
Steady-state estimate: each sale's reserved slice is released either when Etsy confirms tracking (we assume your posting delay) or after the holding period. Your reserve percentage and holding time are shown in Shop Manager → Finances → Payment account — Etsy sets them per account and doesn't publish fixed figures. Digital item sales are never reserved. Fees, refunds and label costs still come out of the money you can see, which is why a "30% reserve" can feel like half your money.
Read from the Status and Availability Date columns of your statement. We total each reserved sale's earnings (its Net figure) — that's the ceiling of what's still to release; since Etsy holds a percentage of each sale, the actual held amount can be smaller. Your Payment account shows the exact figure. Dates are Etsy's own estimates; adding confirmable tracking to an order can release its funds sooner.
This is the monthly statement CSV, not the payment account export — the statement one has a Status column that marks reserved sales and an Availability Date column with the estimated release date. If your file has different column names, email us the headers only (never the file): caac.mbx+support-etsy-fee-auditor@gmail.com. Estimates for information only — not financial advice. Your CSV never leaves your device.
